Sasuke is the youngest son of Fugaku Uchiha and Mikoto. In addition to being the captain of the police that his father Fugaku was also the head of Sasuke Uchiha clan to which he belongs.
As in any family where the youngest child is almost always looking at his older brother, Sasuke learned to grow in his brother, Itachi, shadows.
To make matters worse, Itachi was always seen as a special for both of his clan members and townspeople. Although he strove to shine, Sasuke quickly realized that his achievements were only measured for this brother, including his own father.
As the years passed, the rivalry between the two brothers grew up and this was recognized by his older brother when compared to a wall that had to climb over Sauk for recognition.
Fortunately for Sasuke, Itachi behavior began to change for the worse, his father brought him near and away from Itachi.
It was his father who taught him the technique of large fireball that looks like a rite of initiation into the Uchiha clan. However, when Sasuke tried to do for the first time, results were less impressive than when his father is mentioned that his older brother was able to accomplish the same feat in his first attempt.
This served as a great motivation to Sasuke and then practice hard for a week, was able to perform the technique in front of his father. The latter gave him the recognition that there was much time for. Now I could stand tall and the shadows of his brother.
As a reward, his father allowed him to lead the clan emblem on the back and warned him not to follow Itachi's footsteps.
Things got out of hand when one night, all members except Sasuke Itachi killed by a feat of rage. Sasuke also learned that the reason why his brother was not killed was because he agreed with him, not even worth killing.
Itachi also mentioned that he knew his actions on that night will Sasuke hates him enough to want to kill him. It also revealed the secret place where the clan are and what to do to awaken your Mangekyou Sharingan.
As far as he can remember, Sasuke remembering the events of that night are a bit blurry but then recalled that he learned how to awaken his Sharingan and finally pursuing Itachi. After killing his brother, Sasuke learned that Itachi was under strict orders from the elders of Konoha to kill members of his own clan and they really loved his younger brother. This led to Sasuke vowing never to stop until the elderly and their last child had been destroyed.
